Placer County Foster Youth Parents Needed

Foster Youth.jpgPlacer County Foster Youth need you.  There is an urgent need for committed families and adults in our community to step forward to provide temporary and permanent homes for children and youth of all ages.

Often, due to a shortage of local Placer foster home options, youth live out of their communities, taking them out their schools and away from valuable resources and supports.  In many cases, school interruption causes the youth to fall behind during their critical high school years.

The Placer Kids collaborative is reaching out to families who may have desire or interest in becoming either foster parents or who might know current youth or be involved in their communities, and be willing to support the youth in other ways.  Can you help?  Want to know more?  Please come to an orientation or contact Placer Kids/Sierra Forever Families.
