Professional Learning Institute

Professional Learning Logo

Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District believes learning isn't limited to just our students. So much so, we developed the Professional Learning Institute for instructional staff.  The goal of the Professional Learning Institute is to provide regularly scheduled professional courses on a variety of topics, creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement for all staff members.

Professional Learning Institute courses are offered after school hours ensuring teachers are not missing out on essential instructional time with their students. Also being mindful of maintaining a healthy work-life balance, courses begin at 3:30 pm, and only range from 1 to 2 hours in length.

In addition, Dry Creek values our staff's time and dedication to growing as professionals.  While the classes offered are optional, Dry Creek provides hourly compensation to both instructors and attendees, as well as providing materials and supplies (where applicable) needed to implement new strategies or practices learned during the course.

If you're a District employee and interested in attending courses offered in Dry Creek's Professional Learning Institute, please be sure to check your District email as upcoming opportunities will be emailed to you directly. You can learn more about the Professional Learning Institute by logging onto the District intranet and navigating to Educational Services, then Professional Learning Institute.
